"America, this is our moment. This is our time."

Anyone else take pictures of their television screens last night?

Wow! Electrifying up and down the spine! Thrilling! Tears of joy were welling up with the end of this speech:

I found it interesting that Senator Clinton "suspended" her "historic campaign". Its as if she has this hope that Obama might trip up between now and November and she'll be there to step up in the event duty calls her.

I like a good consperacy as much as the next guy...I'm sure the Clinton camp has P.I.s working 24/7 doing the digging on Mr. Obama. Chris, that might be a good story for one of your pulpy novels.

Love,

Duke

P.S. Doesn't anybody feel Obama's campaign is a bit "historic" as well? I'm just sayin'...

Legally, she's "suspended" her campaign because she is $30 million or so in debt, $11 million of it owed back to herself.

If she "stops" altogether, that money is a nice "donation" to the Democratic campaign. With a suspension, she has time until Obama is officially nominated at the Convention to raise money and ask for handouts to repay that debt.

At least that's the pretty outward picture. Surely she wouldn't do somoe sort of unsightly power grab, now would she?....
