So, the Irish punk band Flogging Molly is on tour and set to play in Charlotte Wednesday night in suppoort of their new CD "Float" (in stores today). Chris had hoped to just drive down and go, but sadly a bout of acute maxillary sinusitis has rendered that hope moot. Lingering Dominican Republic snottiness and coughing has percolated and brewed in a week's time into a full-force of extreme congestion, phlegm, and downright nastiness. The good doctor has kept me out of work as I am contagious as can be, so it would probably not be a good idea to thrash about in a tiny smoky club in Charlotte.
Disappointing.
