We sleep in, then make our first trip into Denver. Our destination? Coors Field for the 1:00pm Colorado Rockies vs. the Cincinnati Reds. Tickets for the Club Level again: chop chop, fetch me a weiner and a beverage you foul temptress! Seatside service for lunch. Dogs, a turkey wrap, Cracker Jack, and local icon Fat Tire beer. Rockies won a nail-biter in 12 innings 4-3. Pay for 9 innings, get 3 free!

Afterward, Kimberly had to make it the first of her weeklong nurse anesthesia lobbyist events, so we parted ways for basically the entire week. It turned out in the end to be quite a different visit than we envisioned: Kimberly's days and nights filled with lobbyist activities and dinners and events. Chris's days and nights filled with events for the plebian common citizen, sightseeing, and brewpubs. We both had fun, albeit in completely separate itineraries. It was odd. As stated before, the shadows know your whereabouts and the topics of your conversations, so if you want the skinny from Kimberly on her experiences, you'll have to get it verbally from her. Lobbyists do not want their secrets revealed...
