After baseball's "Mitchell Report" investigating steroid use was released, the Gordons had sadly neglected to make any sort of post concerning it.

I have written off all pro sports. Will I leave the room if a game is on or never attend a Super Bowl party? No. But the day-to-day following of the baseball season (the only pro sport I actually follow)...not gonna happen. I always knew that the stuff from the Mitchell Report was happening to some degree, but I guess I needed some eye-opening thing. Sure it is still mostly hearsay, but where there is smoke, there is fire (baseball is a sport of cliches, isn't it?)
"F" 'em all. I hate to persecute all of baseball for the crimes of the minority, but, this is the straw that broke the camel's back.
They can't pitch themselves out of this jam. Stick a fork in them...they're done. They are going...going...GONE! (The cliches just keep on comin')
